Every quilt made at Living Threads is the story of a life…
- Each shirt, pants, hat, glove–really anything at all that was worn by their loved one holds a memory that will be stitched into something beautiful.
- Each stitch volunteer quilters make is filled with prayers for the family of the deceased.
- Moms, dads, sisters, brothers and everyone will embrace the finished quilt with some tears, some smiles and laughter.
- Hearts will begin to be comforted. They will know their son, daughter, mother or father will not be forgotten and that they have passed on a gift of hope to children who live in extreme poverty (click here for more information on how children are helped through Living Threads).
