A Quilt longarmed at Living Threads = Mission Support
Did you know that when you bring your quilt to Living Threads to be longarm quilted you are actually supporting missions at the same time? You are helping Living Threads to continue to serve grieving families and the children who live in the Kibera Slum.
Living Threads has two longarm machines, three operators and a two week or less turnaround.
Volunteer Highlight
Walk with me down the halls of Living Threads, listen to the murmur of the voices of the women sewing in the Mary and Martha rooms. Walk with me down the halls of Living…
“At Living Threads we know how important memories are when you have lost someone you love to death or suffering with dementia. We are committed to help you capture your memories through the creation of a memory quilt. It is our hope that these special quilts will bring comfort and healing to those who are grieving. Please take a moment to see how these special quilts are supporting hundreds of children in the Kibera Slum of Kenya (click here) giving them hope and a chance for a better life!”
